Form & Fix's current pill organizers list PLA as the material for their main components. They are made to order, and their descriptions explain that fine layer lines and small surface differences may be visible from piece to piece.
That statement applies to the 7-Day, AM / PM, and Daily 3 formats. It describes the expected appearance; it is not a claim that every mark or irregularity should be accepted as normal.
Why texture looks different from one photograph to another
Light crossing a surface from the side can make fine ridges more noticeable. Softer, more even light can make the same surface appear smoother. Close-up images also reveal details that may be less prominent when the whole case is viewed at an ordinary distance.
When evaluating the finish, look at an overall image and a close-up together. The first helps you understand the shape and color, while the second shows the material texture. Neither view alone tells the complete story.
Separate appearance from operation
A visible line is an appearance detail. A tray that does not move or close as expected is a different concern. Do not assume a fit problem is simply part of the printed finish, and do not force, sand, or modify a component to resolve uncertainty.
If something seems wrong, contact Form & Fix with your order details, the model name, an overall photo, and a close-up of the area. For a movement concern, explain what happens when you use the intended side button. Those details are more useful than a very tightly cropped image with no context.
Follow the listed care guidance
The product instructions call for wiping with a soft cloth as needed and avoiding prolonged exposure to high heat or direct sunlight. The material name alone does not establish suitability for a dishwasher, sterilization process, or cleaning chemical. Ask about a method that is not included in the instructions before trying it.
